Houseplant: Hybrid of S. rowleyanus and S. articulatus, this rare and popular hybrid has gray green leaves that look like dolphins leaping off the plant! With proper care, it can send up bloom stalks with pompom-like clusters of tiny white flowers. Cannot tolerate frost/freezing temps. Drought tolerant. Water: moderate when top soil is dry. Soil: good drainage. For a full pod of “dolphins”, prune the stems regularly and replant the cuttings.
